Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with at least one year of LDRP experience and an active OR license to work nights in a labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum unit.

Responsibilities

Work in an LDRP unit providing labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
Includes care for GYN surgical and pediatric patients
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Required to work every third weekend
Provide comprehensive care before, during, and after labor and delivery for mothers and newborns
Care delivered in a family-centered, medically safe environment
Strict adherence to certification and experience requirements is enforced by the facility
Facility may refuse or terminate assignments at its discretion

Requirements

Active and unencumbered OR RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum of one year LDRP or related nursing experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
NRP and STABLE certifications preferred

Schedule was atrocious especially night shift. Significant amount of floating to the ER as helping hands or a sitter.
