Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rural Ultrasound Technologist with experience in general, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasound for a weekday assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule
• Work setting involves diagnostic imaging in a rural environment
• Performs general, abdominal, obstetric, small parts, and vascular ultrasound exams
• Canon Aplio 500 ultrasound unit used for imaging
• Meditech EMR is used; prior experience with Meditech preferred
• Responsibilities include performing a wide range of ultrasound studies across different modalities
• Weekday schedule with no mention of holidays, nights, or weekend shifts
• No radius restriction for local candidates
• Quick start assignment

Requirements

• Current active state license required if applicable
• Relevant certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and ARRT
• Knowledge of high-level disinfection (HDL) for ultrasound transducers
• Vascular and general ultrasound proficiency
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
