Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and specialized cardiac ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiovascular/Thoracic ICU of a hospital setting
- Night shift (12-hour shifts)
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- No on-call responsibilities
- Cares for adult cardiac and vascular ICU patients
- Returning staff must have been separated from Emory or Houston facilities for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- No local candidates allowed; must live at least 50 miles from facility
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO), or 3 days if around a holiday; only 1 holiday RTO request allowed
- Candidates with several consecutive RTO days around holidays will not be approved
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license in hand
- At least 18 months of recent full-time CVICU experience required
- Strong experience with cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular cases, is required
- Must score 3s or 4s in relevant cardiac and vascular procedures for consideration
