Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Texas requiring a TX or compact license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on a Med/Surg unit
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for adult medical-surgical patients
• 50 mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not eligible
• Med/Surg nurses are responsible for caring for a variety of adult patients with diverse diagnoses
• Holiday and weekend work may be required according to unit needs

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• At least one year of recent Med/Surg experience
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification valid through the first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Submission requires US Social Security Number and date of birth (No Canadian SSNs accepted)
• At least one professional reference required
