Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position with recent experience and HCHB EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

Home health setting serving primarily geriatric patients
Assignment based within the East Team territory covering up to a 60-mile radius from the main office
Typical caseload is 5-7 patients per day
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call rotation required every 3rd to 4th weekend
HCHB EMR experience is required
OASIS documentation experience preferred
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
iPad is provided for documentation
Primary responsibility includes providing physical therapy services to geriatric patients in their homes
Travelers must be flexible and willing to travel within the assigned territory
First-time travelers are accepted for this position
Local candidates are accepted and compensated at the travel rate
Dress code is scrubs (any color), jeans are not permitted

Requirements

Current PT license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in home health physical therapy
BLS certification required
Demonstrated experience with HCHB EMR
Experience with OASIS documentation preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule and cover a wide geographic territory
