Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and recent MST experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital float pool covering Med/Surg Telemetry (MST) units and ED Holds
• Floating required between multiple campuses as needed
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Any missed scheduled shifts must be made up within the same week, and the assignment will be extended to cover missed shifts if not completed
• May be required to provide care in both Med/Surg Tele units and ED hold areas
• First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license at time of application
• Minimum of 2 years recent MST experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccination is required with no declinations accepted
