Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with experience in both Cath Lab and Angio, including scrub experience, for a Level I Trauma and teaching environment.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an acute care hospital within a Level I Trauma and teaching facility
- Work setting is the Cardiac Cath Lab and Angio department
- Shift consists of four 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call required: approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
- Use of Epic EMR system
- Float requirements: Travelers may be required to float within the site and across the system as needed
- Scrubs are provided for this position
- Primary responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and Angio suite
- Travelers must complete assigned education modules within one week of assignment start
- Failure to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
- Mandatory low census cancellation can occur for one shift per two-week pay period
- No RTO allowed in the first two weeks; maximum of seven days RTO permitted
- No exemptions accepted for COVID vaccination; proof required
- Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
- Local travelers are accepted for this position
Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R certifications required
- OBMI (Oregon state license) required—license required if applicable
- Experience in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub expertise required
- Experience working in acute care and trauma settings preferred
