Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR/angiography experience, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology department specializing in both cardiac and general IR procedures
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts starting at either 7:00 AM or 7:30 AM; day off rotates
• Average daily caseload is 25 patients
• Procedures include stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripheral procedures, drainages, abdominal and pelvic interventions, extremity, genitourinary, vascular, and venous access, as well as LP myelograms
• Experience with Siemens equipment is preferred
• No floating within scope or to sister facilities required
• Block scheduling and RTO are at manager's discretion
• Open to first-time travelers
• Local candidates are accepted
• Duties include performing a wide range of interventional radiology and vascular procedures
• Candidates must have experience working with a variety of complex cases, including both cardiac and peripheral interventions
• Team environment with support for new travelers
• Shift is primarily weekdays with possibility of rotational day off
• Work attire and dress code details to be provided upon onboarding

Requirements

• Active state license required if applicable
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent IR/angiography special procedures experience
• Proficiency with PACS, biopsies, and contrast administration required
• Demonstrated experience in all required IR procedures listed in job details
