Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR Tech experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications for a dynamic cardiac IR role.

Responsibilities

Work in an interventional radiology unit focused on cardiac and neuro cases
Procedures include angiograms, venograms, PICC and port-a-cath placement, vertebroplasty, GI bleed interventions, various embolizations, biliary tube exchanges, nephrostomy, IVUS, fistulagrams, transjugular biopsies, IVC filter removal, and thrombectomy for neuro
Equipment includes EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti devices
Uses EPIC for charting; prior EPIC experience required
4x10 hour day shifts (start times may vary from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM), with the specific day off and shift assigned upon offer
On-call is required as part of the schedule
Potential float between affiliated locations within scope as needed based on volume and staffing
First time travelers are welcome
Return staff must have a break of at least one year from full-time, part-time, or per diem roles to be eligible as a traveler
Expected to float within clinical scope based on department needs
Must adhere to dress code: no agency or branded logos on scrubs/apparel, natural nails under 1/4" with polish allowed, and no nose rings or gauged earrings
Some holiday coverage should be expected
No cafeteria on site; refrigerator and microwave available
Free parking in unrestricted spaces

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology technologist experience required
Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
KY LIC (KBMIRT) can be pending at time of consideration; valid KY or compact license required if applicable
EPIC charting experience is required
Experience with specialized IR procedures and related equipment is necessary
COVID and Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions permitted
