Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of strong vascular experience and current RDMS and RVT credentials.

Responsibilities

• Work in both hospital and outpatient settings, rotating as needed
• Perform advanced vascular scans including hemodialysis access mapping, venous insufficiency exams, and arterial exams post-intervention
• Adult patient population, with the possibility of caring for COVID patients
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required as needed with 30-minute response time
• Responsibilities include high-level vascular scanning and supporting pre- and post-intervention assessments
• Tobacco and fragrance-free work environment
• COVID patient care may be required
• Holiday and weekend work may be necessary as needed
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off
• Local candidates within 50 miles will be offered at a lower bill rate
• Pre-start modules must be completed prior to assignment
• Pairs are accepted, but matched schedules are not guaranteed

Requirements

• Registered in Ultrasound by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in abdomen or OB-GYN
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through RDMS required
• Minimum of 2 years recent vascular ultrasound experience
• Experience with advanced vascular scanning procedures
• Epic EMR experience required
• AHA or ARC certification required
• Ability to respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes
• License required if applicable
