Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a GA or compact license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a general medical-surgical ICU within a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts, 7am-7pm, with a varied schedule
• Three shifts per week for a 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Care for a variety of critically ill medical and surgical patients in the ICU
• Returning permanent staff may only return as travelers after a 2-year break
• All requests for time off must be submitted up front
• Scrub and dress code details provided upon offer or orientation

Requirements

• Active GA or compact state RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
