Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification, OB credential, and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• General ultrasound role in a trauma setting with pediatric and advanced abdominal imaging
• Performs 3D and 4D imaging, high-risk gynecological and obstetrical exams, infertility, and complex ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Day shifts with various shift lengths, typically 4 days per week
• Duties include performing 3D and 4D imaging, advanced abdominal and OB ultrasound, infertility studies, and guided biopsies
• Experience with ultrasound reporting systems is expected
• First-time travelers will be considered with all credentials and experience verified
• Proper documentation and certification must be maintained throughout assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in general and specialty ultrasound exams
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) certification required with OB credential
• NH Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Licensure required; license must remain active for duration of assignment
• BLS certification required
• Competency in ultrasound reporting systems
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Experience in high-risk OB, advanced abdominal imaging, infertility, and guided biopsies preferred
• License required if applicable
• 75-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates allowed
