Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with an active NY license, prior Epic EMR experience, and night shift availability.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital
- Care for a diverse emergency patient population
- Night shift, 19:00 to 07:30 schedule
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
- Medical documentation is required for flu vaccination exemptions; personal or religious declinations are not accepted
- More than 3 call outs within a 13-week period will result in contract termination and makeup shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application
- Candidates must not reside within a 50-mile radius covering specific counties, including Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
- Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED nursing experience required
- Current AHA or RQI certifications (such as BLS and ACLS) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Applicants must have a valid US Social Security Number (Canadian SIN not accepted)
