Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for night shifts with at least one year of recent ICU experience and an active UT or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a hospital ICU
  • Night shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 12-week contract assignment
  • ICU patient population
  • Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients during assigned night shifts
  • Compliance with facility and regulatory documentation requirements is expected
  • References must meet state-specific requirements

Requirements

  • Active UT or compact RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent ICU experience
  • At least two professional references required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
  • Certifications must be from AHA or ARC and valid for at least 30 days after start date
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
