Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in Colorado requiring a compact license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Primarily cares for critically ill adult patients
• No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Responsibilities include providing critical care nursing to patients with complex health needs
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Specific documentation including application, professional references, license verification, and copies of certifications must be provided

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience
• Current AHA or ARC certifications in BLS and ACLS
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required
