Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in Colorado requiring a compact license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
- Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Primarily cares for critically ill adult patients
- No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Responsibilities include providing critical care nursing to patients with complex health needs
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Specific documentation including application, professional references, license verification, and copies of certifications must be provided
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience
- Current AHA or ARC certifications in BLS and ACLS
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- At least one professional reference required
