Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU travel position requiring night shifts and an active TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel nursing assignment
• Care for critically ill neonates and newborns
• NICU RNs provide care to newborns requiring specialized intensive medical attention
• Must provide appropriate professional references as required by state
• No local candidates accepted under the 50-mile rule

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience as an RN
• BLS and NRP Advanced 9th Edition certifications required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Not eligible if residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility
