Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU travel position requiring night shifts and an active TX or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week travel nursing assignment
- Care for critically ill neonates and newborns
- NICU RNs provide care to newborns requiring specialized intensive medical attention
- Must provide appropriate professional references as required by state
- No local candidates accepted under the 50-mile rule
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience as an RN
- BLS and NRP Advanced 9th Edition certifications required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Not eligible if residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility
