Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel ICU position in Illinois requiring an active IL RN license and recent critical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an adult ICU (HAU) unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Care for critically ill adult patients in a high acuity environment
- Responsibilities include providing advanced, high-acuity care to adult patients
- Staff are required to clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
- Proof of resignation in the HealthTrust HR System required for former employees
- Standard hospital dress code applies
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; RCIS and RQI not accepted
- No lapses in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Must provide full US Social Security Number for consideration
- Certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start
- Candidates currently employed in a permanent position at any location are not eligible for travel assignments
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
