Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift role in a hospital setting with a focus on critical emergency care and 2 years of ER experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Six weekend night shifts required over a 6-week period
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide initial assessment and rapid intervention for ER patients with varying levels of acuity
• Perform duties as one of the first responders for new emergency room admissions
• Must submit copies of all required licensure and certifications for consideration
• Recent traveler experience is preferred
• Facility will consider local candidates at a reduced rate
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be approved

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Submission of recent work history and two supervisory references taken within the last two years
• Specialty-specific skills checklist current within one year
