Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 6 months of vascular experience and RDCS/RVT credentials.

Responsibilities

Work in a vascular ultrasound department in a clinical setting
Perform vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Doppler studies
Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts
One weekend call shift every 6 to 7 weeks
No regular on-call requirements
Operate imaging equipment and review images for diagnostic quality
Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate findings to healthcare providers
Alert physicians to urgent problems identified in imaging
No more than 5 days of requested time off permitted
Local candidates will be considered

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months vascular ultrasound experience required
ARDMS certification with RDCS and RVT required (license required if applicable)
BLS (AHA) certification required
Skill in vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Doppler procedures required
