Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Cardiac unit position requiring an active Illinois RN license and Epic charting experience.

Details

Position is in a hospital-based Med/Surg Cardiac unit
Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week
Cares for cardiac patients in a Level 1 Trauma setting
Uses the Epic electronic medical record system

Requirements

Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temp licenses accepted)
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of one year of recent nursing experience in a relevant setting
Documented experience with Epic charting
Experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment
Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required

Additional Information

Implement and adjust patient care plans based on continuous assessment and evaluation
Maintain accurate documentation to support patient care and team communication
Night shift schedule with holiday and weekend requirements as needed
Not open to local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility
Maximum RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed is seven days per 13-week contract
Previous contingent workers must wait six months after one year of continuous service before returning
No travel partners are accepted for this assignment
