Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LTACH Med Surg/ICU position requiring a KY or compact RN license and proficiency in Meditech EMR.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) on a combined Med Surg/ICU unit
• Patient assignment is typically a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Utilizes the Meditech EMR system
• Night shift position with hours from 19:00 to 07:30
• Schedule follows a rotating 36-hour and 48-hour bi-weekly work period
• Bi-weekly orientation is provided
• Responsible for comprehensive patient care in a long-term acute environment on a Med Surg/ICU combined unit
• Must submit two professional references and a copy of driver's license for consideration
• Travel pairs are not permitted unless unit exceptions apply
• No local candidates will be accepted due to the 100-mile radius rule

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license is required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent LTACH experience
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR is required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
