Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on the Vascular C5 unit requiring a current NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Vascular C5 Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient care in a telemetry environment
- Epic EMR is used for all charting and documentation
- No blocked scheduling allowed
- Competency testing may be required depending on background
- More than 3 call outs in a 13-week period will result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with the application
- Local candidates residing within specified counties within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
- Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
- Travelers may only apply to one position at a time
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience in telemetry or related field
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI
- Epic EMR experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required (no Canadian SIN accepted)
- Medical documentation required for flu vaccine exemption; personal or religious declinations not accepted
