Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Room position requiring trauma level II experience and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an adult Emergency Department in a hospital setting
• Level II trauma center with a high-acuity patient population
• Night shift schedule, 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Expected to work 6 out of every 12 weekend shifts
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the unit
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• Provide emergency care for adult patients in a busy ED setting
• Must be able to function effectively in a level II trauma environment
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• First time travelers will be considered if all other requirements are met

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Minimum two years of recent experience in an ER at a level II trauma center
• Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and either TNCC or ATCN
