Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 2 Neonatal ICU position in Michigan requiring an active MI RN license and two years of recent Level 2 NICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Hospital setting with neonatal patient population
• Night shifts from 1900 to 0730 with weekend requirements
• Five shifts per week with no blocked scheduling
• Potential to float to a nearby sister hospital
• Must complete online modules onsite prior to start and achieve a passing score
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory
• RTO (time off) requests must be submitted prior to assignment; post-offer requests must be discussed with management
• Must report for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
• Firm due dates are set for all pre-employment requirements

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required for consideration
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required
• AHA BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of recent Level 2 NICU experience required
• Hospital nursing experience is required
• Strong clinical and analytical skills to develop effective care plans
• Effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team
