Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with strong neuro experience for a Neuroscience ICU and IMCU position in Georgia, requiring a GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Neuroscience ICU and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) within a hospital setting
• Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
• ICU patient ratios are 1:2; stepdown unit ratios are 1:3-4
• Floating between ICU and stepdown units is likely
• Neuro specialty focus with both critical and intermediate care patients
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide care to critically ill neurological patients and those needing stepdown care
• Supportive multidisciplinary team environment
• Include EMR experience in your application
• Demographic information and badge-appropriate photo required for consideration
• Time off requests should be noted with application

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent neuro ICU or neuro stepdown experience
• Current BLS and other specialty-specific certifications as required
• Up-to-date resume with detailed work history and explained employment gaps
• Skills checklist and two references from supervisors or managers within the past 2 years
• Certification card and Nursys license verification required
