Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with strong neuro experience for a Neuroscience ICU and IMCU position in Georgia, requiring a GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Neuroscience ICU and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) within a hospital setting
- Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
- ICU patient ratios are 1:2; stepdown unit ratios are 1:3-4
- Floating between ICU and stepdown units is likely
- Neuro specialty focus with both critical and intermediate care patients
- No on-call responsibilities
- Provide care to critically ill neurological patients and those needing stepdown care
- Supportive multidisciplinary team environment
- Include EMR experience in your application
- Demographic information and badge-appropriate photo required for consideration
- Time off requests should be noted with application
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent neuro ICU or neuro stepdown experience
- Current BLS and other specialty-specific certifications as required
- Up-to-date resume with detailed work history and explained employment gaps
- Skills checklist and two references from supervisors or managers within the past 2 years
- Certification card and Nursys license verification required
