Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a primarily outpatient role in a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in an outpatient setting with approximately 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient caseload
• Day shift schedule, Tuesday through Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an hour lunch break
• Saturday shifts are inpatient only and typically require about 2.5 hours of work
• First to float as needed within the facility
• Uses Cerner for electronic charting and documentation
• Critical Access Hospital environment
• Duties include providing direct patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Scrub attire is not required; wear a solid color polo and black pants
• 12 hours of orientation will be provided at start
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by related facilities within the past year
• Weekend work is expected as part of the regular schedule
• Candidates must live outside specified mileage radii for states with such requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Physical Therapist experience
• Active state or compact PT license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with both outpatient and inpatient care preferred
• Ability to float within the facility as needed
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
• Two professional references: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last three years, including employment dates and eligibility for rehire
