Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient experience for a day shift position in a critical access setting.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient physical therapy setting in a critical access facility
  • Day shifts; four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • No weekend or on-call shifts required
  • Patient ratio of 1:11
  • Use of Epic EMR is required
  • No floating between units is required for this assignment
  • Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state if needed
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles away from the facility
  • Minimal to no time off (RTO) will be considered; all time off requests must be addressed upfront
  • No parking fees
  • Any color scrubs are acceptable for this position
  • Open to first-time travelers

Requirements

  • Current physical therapy license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Outpatient experience is specifically required
  • At least 2 years of experience preferred unless otherwise noted
  • Experience with Epic EMR is required
  • References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable setting within the last three years
  • Required certifications must be current
  • SSN and date of birth required for consideration
