Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position requiring Epic experience and current NRP, BLS, and STABLE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Provides care for critically ill neonates requiring advanced support such as ventilators and central lines
• Night shifts (3x12 hours), 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirement
• Epic EMR experience required
• Teal scrubs required
• Responsible for providing specialized care to neonates using advanced technology and medication management
• Strict adherence to facility RTO policies, with a general maximum of 5 days considered
• Must provide your own teal scrubs
• Expect to be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on critical neonatal care

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years Level III NICU experience
• Current certifications in NRP, BLS, and STABLE
• Experience with RAMs, ventilators, central lines, IV drips, and high alert medication administration
• Epic EMR experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Former permanent employees must be gone for at least 1 year from any LCMC facility for consideration
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility
