Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift assignment, requiring two years of experience and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg unit (Medical B)
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage as needed per unit requirements
- No on-call responsibility
- Uses Epic EMR system, prior experience required
- Role involves delivering comprehensive care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population
- Local candidates are considered at the same rate except where facility-specific radius rules apply
- Holiday and weekend shifts are part of the rotation
- No first-time travelers specified
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license
- At least two years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Experience in a facility with 500+ bed count required
- Prior Epic experience required
