Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a current MA RN license and advanced cardiac care certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Cath Lab setting
- Provides care in the HVI CVM Cath Lab Clinical unit
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off
- Requires 3+ years of Cath Lab experience and 1+ year of travel nursing experience
- Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience preferred
- Provide direct patient care and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced cardiac environment
- No validated parking available on site; candidates should plan for public transportation or paid parking lots
- Epic EMR training provided if unfamiliar
- Two professional references required for consideration
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered MA RN license required at time of consideration; no pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- Minimum 3 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- At least 1 year of prior travel RN experience
- Flu vaccination required; no medical or religious exemptions accepted
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility if applying as a travel nurse to qualify for standard pay
