Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a current MA RN license and advanced cardiac care certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based Cath Lab setting
  • Provides care in the HVI CVM Cath Lab Clinical unit
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off
  • Requires 3+ years of Cath Lab experience and 1+ year of travel nursing experience
  • Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience preferred
  • Provide direct patient care and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced cardiac environment
  • No validated parking available on site; candidates should plan for public transportation or paid parking lots
  • Epic EMR training provided if unfamiliar
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered MA RN license required at time of consideration; no pending licenses accepted
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
  • At least 1 year of prior travel RN experience
  • Flu vaccination required; no medical or religious exemptions accepted
  • Must live more than 60 miles from the facility if applying as a travel nurse to qualify for standard pay
