Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Montana, requiring recent L&D and obstetric nursing experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery setting
• Care for obstetric and laboring patients with focus on maternal and fetal well-being
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week for a 13-week assignment
• Responsibilities include monitoring labor progression, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum care
• Duties include administering medications, performing cervical exams, interpreting fetal monitoring strips, and educating patients postpartum
• Role involves supporting patients and families through labor and delivery
• No COVID-19 vaccination required for this position
• Local candidates are accepted as radius restrictions do not apply

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and managing operative deliveries necessary
