Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist with at least 1 year of OR/O-arm experience and proficiency in Epic EMR.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a short-term acute care hospital on the X-Ray Tech unit
- Assignment is 13 weeks with likely day to mid-shift 4x10 hour shifts (6:00 to 16:00)
- No weekends required
- On-call required once per month
- Patient assignment ratio is 1:1
- OR/O-arm experience is necessary
- Epic EMR is used and experience is required
- No floating between units required
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state if needed
- Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal to no RTO is preferred for this role; excessive time off may affect consideration
- Dress code allows any scrub color, with scrubs provided for OR
- COVID and Flu vaccination may be required
- First-time travelers are accepted
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year X-ray technologist experience including OR/O-arm procedures
- Current and valid X-ray technologist license required if applicable
- 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Required certifications must be provided for consideration
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
