Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring Level III NICU expertise and commitment to every weekend scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every weekend shifts required with one additional weekday shift
• Patient ratio is 1:2
• Care involves micro preemies and high frequency ventilation
• Couplet care model and Stork RN present on each shift
• Floating required within five associated hospitals, within skillset
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• No on-call responsibility
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• First-time travelers considered but not preferred
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• All requested time off must be submitted up front; additional requests after submission are not accepted
• Local pay rate differential may apply
• Team includes Stork RNs and supports a couplet care approach
• May float to Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL locations as needed

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• 2-3 years of NICU nursing experience required
• Level III NICU experience is required
• Experience with micro preemies and high frequency ventilation required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required at time of consideration, no exemptions accepted
• Epic experience preferred
