Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio with telemetry monitoring experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Responsible for caring for telemetry patients
• Required to float to units of equal or lower acuity as needed
• Uses the Epic electronic medical records system
• Role includes patient monitoring, medication administration, lab draws, and patient education
• Must be comfortable floating between units as needed
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Scrubs or specific dress code not specified

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience required
• Must be able to pass a telemetry test
• BLS and IV certification required
• Demonstrated ability to start IVs, monitor telemetry, administer medications, perform labs, and provide patient education
• Epic EMR experience required
