Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift LTAC Med/Surg position in Ohio requiring an active OH or compact license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg unit within a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population primarily includes medically complex, long-term acute care cases
• Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius
• Responsibilities focus on care coordination and clinical support for long-term acute adult patients
• All staff must clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
• Candidates currently employed in permanent positions by the health system are not eligible
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are subject to adjusted pay rates
• No Canadian SIN will be accepted
• First time travelers are not specified or restricted for this role

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg or LTAC experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (RCIS or RQI certifications not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must provide a full US Social Security Number
• Candidates must not have certifications expiring within 30 days of assignment start
