Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Ohio, requiring at least two years of OB experience and active specialty certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Serve an OB/GYN patient population, including delivery and postpartum care
• Varied 12-hour shifts negotiable, including day and night options (3P-3A, 3A-3P)
• Required to work every third weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using age-specific criteria
• Assist in planning, directing, and teaching LPNs, PCTs, and unit staff
• Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes
• No more than five days of requested time off will be considered

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of OB nursing experience required
• Completion of at least one travel assignment required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• Ability to function as a first assist and scrub OB highly preferred
