Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position caring for a diverse patient population in a Level III Trauma setting, requiring a NH or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Level III Trauma hospital
• Cares for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
• Requested time off cannot exceed 3 days
• Will care for critically ill patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced environment
• Must provide documentation for all required licenses and certifications

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Cerner EMR experience highly preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required
• ICU skills checklist required for consideration
