Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-hour day shift Telemetry unit position requiring a PA or compact RN license and at least one year of telemetry experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 19-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
- 13-week contract assignment
- Responsible for managing telemetry monitoring and providing Med Surg care
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel
- First time travelers not specified
- Scrub or dress code requirements not specified
Requirements
- Active PA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Telemetry nursing experience
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Basic Arrhythmia certification is required
- Experience with IV insertion and phlebotomy is required
- Workplace Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) certification required, which can be completed online
