Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-hour day shift Telemetry unit position requiring a PA or compact RN license and at least one year of telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a 19-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
13-week contract assignment
Responsible for managing telemetry monitoring and providing Med Surg care
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel
First time travelers not specified
Scrub or dress code requirements not specified

Requirements

Active PA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year recent Telemetry nursing experience
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
Basic Arrhythmia certification is required
Experience with IV insertion and phlebotomy is required
Workplace Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) certification required, which can be completed online
