Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least one year of LTC or rehab experience and a MO license for a weekday day shift position.

Details

• Work in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility rehab setting
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, with flexible start times between 6AM and 10AM
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PT required
• Experience required in a LTC or SNF rehab setting
• Active Missouri PT license required; compact licenses accepted
• New graduates considered with Level II experience (not just Level I observation)
• Active certifications required at time of consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care
• Develop and adjust plans of care, administer therapeutic procedures, and assess progress in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards
• Document all required clinical information in the electronic documentation system
• Participate in required meetings, including patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise and support PTAs, rehab aides, and students when needed
• Adhere to professional practice acts and code of conduct set by APTA and the state
• No more than 7 days of requested time off will be considered
