Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) with at least 1 year of SNF or LTC experience for a day shift travel assignment in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Work in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) setting
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with start times between 6AM and 10AM
• Flexible schedule allowed if consistent and communicated with Director of Rehabilitation
• No weekend shifts required unless making up hours due to a weekday holiday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Utilizes electronic documentation system to maintain patient records
• Screen, evaluate, and provide evidence-based rehabilitation for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop care plans and adjust treatments based on clinical assessment and patient progress
• Document all services, treatment minutes, and outcomes according to regulatory and clinical standards
• Provide consultation and education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Attend patient care and rehabilitation meetings as required
• Supervise and support Clinical Fellows or SLP students as needed
• Adhere to ASHA code of ethics and state practice acts
• Participation in facility and company trainings, in-services, and conferences required
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered during the contract

Requirements

• Active Missouri State SLP license required if applicable
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• At least 1 year of experience as an SLP required
• Experience in SNF or LTC setting required
• 3 years of experience holding active CCC-SLP preferred
• One professional reference required for consideration
