Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of long-term care or rehab experience for a flexible day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a long-term care (LTC) setting
• Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour day shifts
• Start times between 6AM and 10AM, must remain consistent and communicated with the director of rehab
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, rehabilitation interventions, wound care, and documentation per regulatory standards
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
• Consult with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team as needed
• Supervise physical therapist assistants, aides, and students as appropriate
• Participation required in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and ongoing facility training
• Adhere to APTA and state practice acts and ethics
• No weekend coverage required
• No more than 5-7 days of time off (RTO) may be requested depending on assignment rules

Requirements

• Active MO PT license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required
• LTC or SNF setting experience required
• New grads considered with Level II clinical experience
• One professional reference required for consideration
