Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Minnesota that requires Trauma Level IV experience and a valid MN RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the hospital Emergency Room setting
• Care for all patient populations, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and older adults
• Trauma Level IV environment
• Shifts are 12 hours with evening (3pm-3am) or night (7pm-7am) schedules
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic electronic medical record system
• Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in an ER setting
• Coordinate care among interdisciplinary teams and delegate tasks as appropriate
• Maintain up-to-date skills specific to the unit requirements
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment are required for consideration

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license
• Minimum of 2 years ER travel experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current PALS and TNCC certifications
• Experience caring for all patient populations
• Trauma Level IV experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
