Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist in Detroit, MI for day shifts, requiring ARRT (M) certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

Work in a mammography setting with a focus on breast imaging procedures
8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, ending between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM
One or two Saturdays per month may be required, with a weekday off provided
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' mammography experience required
ARRT (M) certification required
Current BLS certification (AHA) required
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Assists with breast biopsies, including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms
Responsible for patient positioning and instruction to obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs
Maintains safety, equipment, and cleanliness standards in the work area
Manually enters data for dictation and billing purposes
No more than five days of time off can be requested during the contract
Strict attendance policy allows one unscheduled absence and two tardies during a 13-week contract
