Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist in Detroit, MI for day shifts, requiring ARRT (M) certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

  • Work in a mammography setting with a focus on breast imaging procedures
  • 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, ending between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM
  • One or two Saturdays per month may be required, with a weekday off provided
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' mammography experience required
  • ARRT (M) certification required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Assists with breast biopsies, including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms
  • Responsible for patient positioning and instruction to obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs
  • Maintains safety, equipment, and cleanliness standards in the work area
  • Manually enters data for dictation and billing purposes
  • No more than five days of time off can be requested during the contract
  • Strict attendance policy allows one unscheduled absence and two tardies during a 13-week contract
