Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in Michigan requiring an active MI RN license and at least three years of tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Telemetry unit with potential floating to CSU, 3 South, 4 South, and Med Surg units including 3 West, 4 West, and IPR
• Night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to work holidays as scheduled
• Paragon EMR experience is preferred
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care based on patient and family needs
• Must collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient- and family-centered care
• Must adhere to a strict attendance policy; three absences or late arrivals may result in immediate termination unless justified by approved medical documentation
• Time off requests may not exceed five days
• Not eligible if employed full-time by McLaren within the past six months

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of three years recent telemetry experience required
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year for RN specialties is required
