Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience for a full-time position serving a geriatric population.

Responsibilities

Home health setting serving the West Team territory
Covers up to a 60-mile radius from the office hub
Daily caseload averages 5-7 geriatric patients
Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour days from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Oasis experience preferred
HCHB electronic medical record experience required
On-call rotation required every 3rd to 4th weekend
iPad provided for documentation
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Main duties include providing PT services in patients’ homes across the assigned territory
First-time travelers are accepted for this position
Scrubs of any color permitted; jeans are not allowed
Must be able to drive to multiple patient homes daily
Locals are accepted and paid at the travel rate

Requirements

Current PT license required if applicable
Minimum of 1 year recent home health PT experience required
BLS certification required
Experience using HCHB EMR required
Oasis documentation experience preferred
Must be flexible with territory assignments
Ability to work with a geriatric patient population
