Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 12-hour night Telemetry/MS-Oncology position with ACLS and BLS certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work on the C3 MS/Oncology Unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and oncology cases
• Dysrhythmia (EKG) exam required with study guide provided
• Epic EMR is used on the unit
• Primary responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and care coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• RN will function as a patient advocate and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Must be able to clinically manage patients with multi-system organ failure or multisystem trauma
• Every other holiday is a scheduled work requirement
• First-day onsite EKG testing is required with study materials provided

Requirements

• Current OH or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• Oncology experience preferred
• Dysrhythmia recognition and pass/fail EKG testing required on first day with two attempts allowed
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
