Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of cardiac and interventional radiology experience and prior travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a short-term acute care hospital in a dedicated cath lab unit
- Day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- On-call required one weeknight per week (6:00 PM to 7:30 AM) and approximately every 5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 7:30 AM)
- Care is provided with a 1:1 patient ratio
- No floating required between units
- Epic EMR is used and prior Epic experience is required
- Responsibilities include assisting with stroke/cerebral angiograms, cardiac procedures, and interventional radiology cases
- Scrub attire may be any color
- All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state if needed
- Returning permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius
- RTO must be minimal and addressed prior to placement; significant RTO may affect consideration
- COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required
Requirements
- Current CVT or equivalent license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab and IR experience required
- Prior travel assignment experience is required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Experience performing stroke/cerebral angiograms and cardiac interventional procedures preferred
- Current certifications as required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years within a comparable specialty/setting required
