Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with BLS and ARRT MR certification to perform advanced imaging procedures across multiple clinical sites.

Responsibilities

• Work across three acute care and one ambulatory clinical site
• Primary responsibility is to cover gaps due to high patient volume and PTO during the spring and summer months
• Acute care sites use GE 3T MRI systems with software versions 23 to 30.1; the ambulatory site uses a 1.5T MRI with software version 30.1
• Shifts are day (3x12 hours), scheduled between 8:00 and 20:30, with start times varying between 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM
• Weekend shifts are frequent, typically including one Saturday and one Sunday per month
• Floating between different sites is required as needed
• Optional on-call is available but not required
• Daily shuttle transportation is provided between campuses
• Competently perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for diagnosis and patient care
• Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality imaging
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing ACA
• Only one holiday request for time off (RTO) will be approved
• Candidate must provide recent supervisor references and copies of certifications upon request

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT MR certification; ARMRIT or ARRT R accepted
• Minimum of 3 years MRI technologist experience
• Proficiency in venipuncture
• Valid CA license required if applicable
• Must meet 50-mile radius rule for eligibility
• Returning employees must have been separated for at least one year to be considered
