Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient role requiring a state license and 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in an acute care hospital in an outpatient physical therapy unit
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 5x8 hour shifts
• Occasional inpatient weekend coverage required approximately once every two months
• May be required to float within scope to a nearby facility as needed
• Charting systems include OBix and McKesson, and documentation also utilizes Pyxis and SBAR
• Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services and ensuring patient progress
• May occasionally assist with inpatient therapy based on a rotating schedule
• Open to first-time travelers and local candidates
• Must wear professional attire; any color scrubs are acceptable
• No more than 10 days of requested time off allowed, with none in the first two weeks and no full calendar week of RTO permitted

Requirements

• Current state physical therapy license or compact required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required; candidates with at least 1 year may be reviewed
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Must have all required licenses and certifications in hand prior to consideration
• Completion of full work history and submission of two professional references from supervisors within the past two years
