Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with 1+ years of MRI experience and proficiency in Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

  • Position based in a pediatric hospital MRI unit
  • Day shift schedule with rotations of 6:30 AM-5:00 PM, 7:30 AM-6:00 PM, and 8:30 AM-7:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Rotating off-days typically between Wednesday and Friday
  • Call required as part of a weekly rotation, including some 12-hour shifts and weekend coverage
  • Weekend shifts rotate among staff on a weekly basis
  • Use of Epic EMR is required
  • Scrub color is flexible and any color may be worn
  • Only 5 days of requested time off will be considered
  • Candidates must be willing to take rotating call shifts including weekends
  • Environment requires strict adherence to department policy and expectations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must not be a first-time traveler
  • Must live at least 75 miles from the facility
  • Returning permanent employees must have been gone from any LCMC facility for at least 1 year to be considered
  • License required if applicable
